Baseball Instructor
Haydon is a recent graduate of Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, where he double majored in Sports and Recreation Management and Business Administration. Price played first base for the Sabres baseball team before suffering a career ending injury. Following his career ending injury, Price joined the Coaching Staff at Marian University where he served in many different roles with player development. Price attended High School at Marquette Academy in Ottawa, Illinois, where he hit .366 his senior year with a pair of home runs and was a key contributor on his State Championship Team in 2019, earning All-Conference honors while also being named to the All-Conference Academic Team. Price was also named to All-Area First Team.
A strong recruiter, Price interned with Prep Baseball Report's Scouting Department in 2021, completing over 300+ hours with PBR IL. Price was hired as the top Assistant Baseball Coach for the Green Bay Blue Ribbons (Semi-Professional) in 2022 and has spent the past two seasons working as an assistant coach under Anthony Sottile. Price helped lead the team to 25 wins last season – a franchise record since the organization’s return in 2016 – and filled in as Interim Manager on several occasions when Sottile missed time. In September of 2023, Price was officially named Manager of the Blue Ribbons, where he begins his first season at helm in June, becoming just the sixth Manager in Blue Ribbons history dating back to 1970.
