Hunter grew up in De Pere, WI where he played for West De Pere High School and for the American Legion West De Pere team. He played two years for the 17u Jr. Legion team where he led both teams to State appearances and won the State Championship in 2017. In High School, Hunter was a two-time varsity letterman and went onto play in the State Quarterfinals in 2019 for WDPHS.

After Hunter’s years at West De Pere High School, he went on to play college baseball at St. Norbert College, located in De Pere, WI. He is planning on graduating in January of 2023 from St. Norbert College with a BA degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. Hunter comes in with a lot of knowledge regarding the physical and mental side of the game and factors that.

Hunter has been with ISA since May 2021 and currently holds the nationally recognized Youth Exercise Specialist (YES) certification. He is currently working toward another certification in the Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
