Advanced Performance Training (APT)
We’re in year 2 of our ISA Advanced Performance Training (APT) program offering. New to the Advanced Performance Training program this year, we are adding “homework” for the athletes. They will be provided with a weekly routine including a take home workout(s) to complete on their own.
The point of this weekly routine is to help athletes understand the process of workouts vs recovery and being efficient with their time when outside ISA. The routine is built under the assumption each APT athlete is fully attending team practices and the standard weekend performance training within the walls at ISA.
Developed and overseen by Certified Strength Coach Tanner Gussert as well as former professional baseball players Ryan Fritze, and Luke Westphal, this program will push athletes to become bigger, faster, and stronger.
APT has grown from an after-school program into a full-fledged speed/weight training program. Built into three phases, ATP is set to mimic a true professional offseason.
Possibly the best part of the program is watching the kids own their development. It makes them build a routine to balance school, ISA practices, extracurricular activities, and proper rest/recovery. Not only does it push them physically but adds responsibility to work in groups, be consistent, and on time.
Advanced Performance Training (APT) is for both baseball & softball athletes.
Each session lasts 1 hour 30 minutes.
Phase 1: $400.00
Monday and Wednesday (September 26 – November 16)
